How to grow a full beard? I am 19 years old and want to grow a Paul McCartney type of beard.

Only this year since I started shaving off long stringy hairs that plopped up (I didn’t shave it before due to terrible acne in the area) that only about 20 to 30 noticeable, thick hairs are on each side of my face. I want more though. When I shave for about 2 weeks or so, my upper lip has thick hair, my chin does, but my sides only have those few 20 or so hairs that are thick. On my sides as well are thin, soft, colourless hairs that form what seems to be a solid pattern, but I want them to get thicker. How? If this helps: My age is 19, and I’m Chinese, Filipino, and Spanish. My hair is very wavy and my arms, legs, and pubic region are covered in hair. My goal: Paul McCartney’s beard, 1970. Thanks.
